Job Summary
Ultrasound Sonographer (MSK & Pain Management) Weekend Contract
Location: South West England
Contract Type: Weekend locum (ad-hoc weekends)
Start: Ongoing weekends only
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to support a weekend-only service across sites in the South West. The role is focused on musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound and pain management supporting clinics with diagnostic imaging and interventional work.
This is a flexible contract not every weekend is required and availability will be coordinated as part of a rota.
Key Responsibilities
Performing MSK ultrasound examinations
Supporting pain management clinics
Experience with ultrasound-guided injections or interventions is highly desirable
Ensuring high clinical standards and patient care
Working collaboratively with clinicians and wider MDT
Requirements
HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent)
Strong experience in MSK ultrasound
Pain management / interventional ultrasound experience preferred
Ability to work independently in a clinic setting
Weekend availability (ad-hoc / rota-based)
Rates & Payments
Day rate: 800 per day (depending on experience)
Payment method: Umbrella / PAYE
Flexible commitment no requirement to cover every weekend
