Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Date: The expected start window for this position is Q2 2026
Time Zone: Available for meetings in CST (35 hours overlap required)
Working Hours: full-time

Job requirements
What Youll Do
Champion an AI-first engineering approach establishing best practices for using tools like Cursor Claude Code or Codex in real production workflows
Serve as the technical point of contact for a major Fintech project building trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Architect large-scale codebases and make key technical decisions that will drive product direction and execution for the team
Drive scalability and resilience initiatives for a platform serving millions of users ensuring it can grow sustainably
Develop and document clear technical guidelines processes and workflows
Stay close to the codebase without being a daily coder guiding architecture and engineering execution through strong technical judgment
Build strong relations with the team client and third-party partners
What Youll Bring
AI-first Engineering Approach: Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor Claude Code or Codex in your development workflow.
Management:Experience managing a team
Tech Lead:Significant experience in a role creating technical solutions making key technical decisions and architecting large-scale applications and systems
Backend Development: Strong backend engineering experience with a proven ability to build applications from scratch
AWS: Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
Agency: Experience working at a software agency
Communication:Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to multiple audiences
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
FinTech (mobile banking payments deposits transactions etc)
