Database Security Role

This role is responsible for security onboarding of products ensuring they meet CSO security controls and maintaining audit-ready evidence. The candidate will work closely with Product Engineering and CSO teams to implement and validate security controls such as IAM encryption certificates and secure configuration. Strong expertise in Oracle Database Security is required.

1. Security Onboarding & Product Integration

• Integrate products into defined security control frameworks
  

• Interpret security policies/standards and ensure compliance
  

• Implement controls like:
  

  • Certificate management
    

  • Access management & authorization (IAM)
    

  • Encryption
    

  • Secure configuration & automation
    

• Coordinate implementation/testing with engineering teams
  

• Maintain onboarding process documentation
  

2. Audit Readiness & Security Evidence Collection

• Collect and maintain evidence for compliance (internal/external audits)
  

• Prepare audit artifacts reports and documentation
  

• Support security control reviews and demonstrate effectiveness
  

• Identify gaps and coordinate remediation
  

3. Oracle Database Security Engineering

• Implement and review Oracle security controls
  

• Perform security assessments & vulnerability reviews
  

• Work on Oracle hardening troubleshooting auditing
  

• Experience with Oracle security features like TDE and auditing
  

4. Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Manage multiple onboarding streams simultaneously
  

• Track scope timelines risks dependencies
  

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders
  

• Ensure timely and quality delivery
  

Security & Compliance

• Strong experience in security engineering / architecture / compliance
  

• Knowledge of NIST ISO 27001
  

• Compliance exposure: SOC2 GDPR HIPAA
  

• Hands-on with controls: IAM encryption vulnerability management SIEM
  

Oracle Database Security

• Oracle installation/config/admin security hardening
  

• Patch management upgrades performance tuning (security-focused)
  

• Knowledge of Oracle security tools/features (TDE auditing)
  

Project/Delivery Management

• Experience managing control onboarding initiatives
  

• Tools: JIRA / Asana / MS Project
  

• Agile/Waterfall exposure
  

Communication

• Ability to work across Product Engineering Audit Operations
  

• Strong documentation stakeholder handling skills
  

Ideal Certifications (Good to Have)

• CISSP
