Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accessible reliable and scalable directly contributing to data-driven decision-making processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Pipeline Development: Design implement and manage scalable pipelines for the efficient collection processing and storage of data.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with data scientists analysts and stakeholders to integrate and streamline data across various systems.
- Database Management: Optimize and maintain databases ensuring efficient storage querying and retrieval of data.
- Data Quality Assurance: Regularly monitor and improve data quality through validation cleaning and consistency checks.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data workflows to enhance overall system efficiency.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for data architectures pipelines and processes for internal use auditing and compliance.
Qualification :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in data engineering or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop Spark) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) is advantageous.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
