The Opportunity:


As a Specialist in the Merchant Expertise Team you are at the forefront of defining and implementing integrity risk measures especially in the domains of scheme AML and KYC. Youll play a key role in drafting procedures and work Instructions handling various onboarding and ODD escalations and more ensuring that the company and our merchants adhere to the highest standards of integrity risk management. This includes the following key responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Define develop and maintain procedures (SOP&WI) and risk modelling rules to ensure top-notch integrity risk compliance;
Interpret any changes or updates in Integrity (scheme AML KYC) rules ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed promptly;
Facilitate training sessions for other internal stakeholders on SOP&WI related to integrity risk;
Handling onboarding escalations for the Merchants deviating from standard onboarding flow ;
Manage extraordinary approvals adhering to the 4-eye principle and in line with the MSRCC & other committee structures;
Manage various Merchant monitoring and Transaction monitoring escalations;
Oversee the Merchant portfolio ensuring quality assurance and risk mitigation;
Support outreach and engagement efforts with partners flagship merchants and the sales team ensuring collaboration and alignment. Assist in the management reporting and tracking of action lists for the team;
Assist in the communication of statuses risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders including progress reports executive summaries and presentations;
Be an active part of a collaborative team environment;

Bachelors degree in business administration finance or a related field
Previous experience in risk management compliance or a related area preferably within the payment industry;
A deep understanding of AML regulations payment schemes standards and principles of transaction monitoring;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and tactically; tendency towards a holistic approach to things;
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks;
Team player with exemplary communication skills;
