Preferred Primary Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Quality Analyst to work as part of our Value Based Care Team. This position will be hybrid with a combination of remote work as well as on site work days required at our office in the Scott Township area. Ideal candidates will be experienced with Electronic Medical Records and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
General Purpose of the Position: Works collaboratively with the Director Value Based Care Quality staff and practice staff to enhance patient care and satisfaction through quality activity/initiatives selected by the corporation and executing the specific tasks required for efficient and effective operation of the corporate quality program.
Schedule: Position works Monday - Friday daylight hours
Location: Position will be hybrid employee will report to PPCPs Central Office in Southpointe
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize payor reporting systems to identify patients who are due for preventative health screenings according to the HEDIS guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Value Base Care Quality staff Office Managers and Physicians to assist in closure of gaps workflow analysis and process improvement to ensure that quality initiatives are achieved.
- To provide support to the Quality staff in achieving and maintaining improved quality-based health outcomes.
- Interpret performance data in coordination with Director and Quality staff to modify processes as needed.
Review Quality reports on a regular basis and make recommendations as needed to ensure efforts are effective and in compliance with regulatory standards and duplication of efforts is avoided.
- Communicate with the Director of Value Base Care each month to review and interpret reports and assess progress of monthly goals.
- Keep informed and educated of changes which occur within all Payer Initiative Programs
Job Responsibilities: Create utilize and process various reports. Work with Office managers and/or staff to achieve positive quality outcomes. Utilize reporting tools to assist patient population in being compliant in partnering with practice to manage their open gaps and comply with their preventative health maintenance screenings. Create a reference/resource file containing information on all Payer initiatives Quality Measures reports etc. to develop manage and track incentive programs for optimal compliance.
- Attend assigned Quality meetings and document all information so that accurate concise information can be disseminated and followed through for gap closure.
- Ensure that all Payer gap reports are printed reviewed and available monthly and/or as requested by Director and/or Quality or office staff.
- Perform EMR chart reviews in order to assess patients compliance with health maintenance screenings
- Request and retrieve patient records or documentation from specialists in order to confirm gap closure.
- Utilize Payer Quality websites on an ongoing basis to promote closure of open clinical quality gaps.
- Communicate with Director of Quality for updates on each selected initiative to ensure successful outcomes.
- Seek clarification on current initiatives or new programs from the Director as needed. Communicate and/or seek assistance in disseminating information as needed.
- Perform audits per direction of Director and provide summary of findings.

Education: Certified Medical Assistant preferred High School Graduate
Experience/On the Job Training:
Excellent communication and technical skills
HEDIS knowledge
Independent and creative thinker
Ability to work well with Quality staff office staff and Physicians
Ability to implement changes and problem solve
Utilize data tracking and trending reports to develop goal setting strategies etc.
Use health resource management principles to impact delivery of care system changes
Credentials: Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Special Skills: Strong Excel skills knowledge of other Microsoft programs email Medent EMR payor portals
