Job Summary
Youll be out in the field diagnosing problems repairing and maintaining residential HVAC systems in customers homes. This is a service-based role not just installing new systemsyoull need to think communicate and solve problems on every call.
Were looking for someone who is reliable experienced and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose issues on:
- Furnaces (Gas and Oil) Heat pumps Central AC systems Mini-splits Boilers (Gas and Oil) Geothermal Heat Pumps etc
- Clearly explain the problem and solution to the customer
- Perform repairs including electrical refrigerant airflow and mechanical components
- Complete preventative maintenance per company checklist
- Test system performance after every repair (temperature split static pressure amp draw etc.)
- Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently before leaving
- Keep your truck stocked and organized
- Communicate with the office about job status and schedule changes
- Take photos and write clear job notes before closing out each job
- Collect payment when job is completed.
