The Impact and Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary commercial point of contact for an assigned portfolio of public and private corporate clients delivering consistent high-quality client service while building trusted advisor relationships
Drive revenue growth and retention by clearly articulating S&P Global Ratings value proposition and positioning Ratings products to meet client needs through strategic account planning and market insight
Lead commercial negotiations for assigned accounts partnering with your Team Lead on more complex or sensitive engagements while demonstrating sound business judgment
Identify cross-sell opportunities through active account coverage and understanding client needs by leveraging deep market knowledge and analytical perspective
Take accountability for the operating system rather than individual instances managing resources to deliver with a focus on sustainability
Provide detailed analysis and apply results to improve functional operations while considering multiple possible courses of action
Provide expert guidance and coaching to junior team members on complex client matters and relationship management strategieswhile prioritizing their growth and development
Track and manage opportunities within a CRM ensuring accurate pipeline data and timely follow-up while maintaining high standards of operational excellence
Lead others in how to live S&P Global purpose and values and connect them to day-to-day work

Theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is $102834to $175000. The final base salary will depend on geographic location experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
An S&P Global employee at this level typically has 8 years of relevant experience in sales relationship management or financial services
Extensive experience in sales relationship management or client coverage within a financial services environment
Strong understanding of capital markets corporate finance and issuer decision-making dynamics
Demonstrated ability to manage complex high-stakes client relationships and negotiations
Proven track record of driving revenue growth through both established and innovative approaches
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
Ability to balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution
Demonstrated expertise in managing effective operational systems and processes with broad knowledge of specialized fields and their market interrelationships
Proven ability to operate with autonomy and require minimal direction while staying connected to external market trends
High emotional intelligence sound judgment and resilience in fast-moving environmentswith the ability to actively listen to others and respond appropriately in emotionally challenging situations
Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work beyond team boundaries to unlock issues and build consensus across groups with competing priorities
Excellent time management capabilities including effectively managing multiple key projects conflicting priorities and unexpected changes through appropriate delegation
Commitment to developing talent and contributing to a high-performance commercial culture
Bachelors degree (Finance Economics or related field preferred)
US Travel Required.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of finance and debt capital markets.
Experience with credit ratings fixed income or complex issuer-focused client coverage
Prior experience leading cross-functional commercial initiatives or strategic programs
Experience in coaching and empowering others to maximize their performance
Demonstrated ability to bring new thinking and curiosity to create innovative solutions with a long-term perspective
