We are looking for a Key Account Manager (m/w/d) to strength our OEM sales activities inMunich. You will be responsible for managing and expanding business relationships with leading global automotive manufactures.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary commercial interface between Kongsberg Automotive and key customer accounts by taking ownership of strategic business development and long-term relationship management
  • Drive sustainable profitable growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities with key customers
  • Oversee all commercial aspects of the accounts including strategy development sales activities forecasting and reporting
  • Lead and coordinate initiatives with cross functional teams (R&D Operations Finance and Purchasing) to deliver value driven customer results
  • Develop strong customer relationships with both existing and new customer accounts
  • Manage commercials activities including RFQs commercial negotiations price strategy contractual agreements
  • Analyze market and technology trends customer needs competitor activity and translate insights into the commercial strategy and product planning
  • Take responsibility for achieving account sales targets new business development sales budget & forecasting and commercial excellence
  • Represent Kongsberg Automotive on internal and external forums acting as the voice of customer

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering business or a related field with 5-7 years experience in B2B Sales preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record in OEM account management including closing deals and managing complex customer interfaces
  • Strong business acumen structured analytical thinking with a fast-paced customer focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong contributor to international cross-functional teams
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)
  • Fluent in English and German both written and spoken
  • Valid class B drivers license
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of time
  • This position is based at our office in Munich
