About the Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to strengthen our cloud-native infrastructure this role you will design implement and operate scalable and secure systems in a fully AWS-based environment. Depending on your seniority you will either support and grow within our infrastructure landscape or take ownership of architectural decisions and mentor others.This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Your Responsibilities
- Design implement andoperatecloud infrastructure inAWS
- Manage andoptimizeKubernetes (EKS)andDocker-basedcontainerenvironments
- Build andmaintainscalable resilient and secure cloud architectures
- Implement and enhancemonitoring and observability solutions(e.g.DataDogor similar)
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes (Infrastructure as Code scripting)
- Ensure high availability performance and security of our systems
- Troubleshoot incidents and continuously improve platform reliability
- Collaborate closely with development and operational support teams
Your profile
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science IT or comparable qualification
- Experience withAWS cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience withKubernetes and Docker
- Experience withmodern monitoring/observability tools(e.g.DataDog Prometheus Grafana etc.)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking security and infrastructure best practices
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation Bash Python)
- Experiencedinworkingin environmentswith agile working methods such asSAFe.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Autodidactic mindset with the ability to quickly learnnew technologies
- Team player who actively shares knowledge and contributes to a collaborative culture
- Structured reliable and solution-oriented working style
- English at C1 level (mandatory) written and spoken
