Position: Abbott Ambassador - Málaga

Objective of Position
The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for driving client loyalty growing
existing business while improving profitability


Accountabilities
a) ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Develop a Strategic Growth Plan at the territory level and leverage the plan on
a daily basis
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data in MyDASH
Execute Account Plan tactics to grow existing business by closing menu gaps
(adding on assays) selling DHS solutions and upgrading and renewing service
contracts
Weekly work with client on business process amplification of their health
system via CRDx globalized and established frameworks
Conduct Client Business Reviews every 90 days (Operational reviews) to
ensure our clients and Abbott are honoring their commitments and execute
on identified client needs
Act as Abbott point of contact for clients to handle any issues or support
requests (ordering and shipping inquiries & product issues)
Support renewal of existing business with the Enterprise team early in the
process blocking competition from entering the account
Work with client to ensure entire Abbott solution is being utilized as expected.


b) GROW THE ACCOUNT
Assess utilization and inefficiencies on instruments and work with client to
maximize testing capabilities
Analyze test menu and ordering patterns to assess gaps and provide solutions
Add solutions including assays software and service offerings to help client
achieve strategic priorities or improve efficiencies
Deliver insights for operational improvement that will directly impact client
KPIs through assays DHS Hematology and/or other solutions
Drive Alinity Hematology and Digital Health Solutions solutions at every
account
Continue to manage post-sales client support activities such as
- Confidently operate all Alinity Instruments
- Install and configure assays on the Alinity instrument
- Perform assay integration calibration precision linearity and method
comparisons for the Alinity
- Articulate performance of the assay interpret data draw insights
- Perform initial assay troubleshooting.

c) CLIENT LOYALTY
Exhibit and articulate our value proposition and solutions
Consult with client to improve operations and KPIs
Deliver insights to clients as well as Enterprise team
Develop relationships with all internal stakeholders
- Lab Director / Manager
- Department Supervisors (IA/CC/Hematology/Specimen Processing)
- Procurement
- IT Manager
- Medical Director
Maintain a high NPS score (OneNPS and tNPS) at each account
Address NPS hot sheets
Leverage marketing collateral to demonstrate Core Diagnostics value
- Client presentations
- Workshops (Educational and Abbott internal)
- Client Business Reviews
- Lead integration activities
Participate in implementation activities per Test of Record (TOR) process
Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale) with
project manager.


Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors/Engineering
degree in bio-medical/electrical/mechanical/medical technology/biology/pharmacy or commercial is preferred.


4. Background
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Diagnostic Industry with an emphasis on
managing and expanding existing accounts managing and improving customer
relationships improving profitability of accounts.
Ideally a proven track record in a similar position supported by management
and customer references.
Excellent product and industry knowledge.
Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics.
Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in local language and English additional languages are advantageous.
