Job Summary
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preventive Maintenance on all Equipment
- Service Maintenance on all Equipment
- Optimize Run Time / Minimize Downtimes
- Maintain a clean efficient safe and healthy work environment with adherence to health and safety policies and regulations
- Respond to production problems on the floor. Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as required.
- Attend to problems with support equipment where capable
- All other responsibilities and duties as assigned
- Ensure safe work practices and good manufacturing practices are being followed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hands on maintenance skills in electrical electronic hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Industrial Millwright (Journeyperson) with experience in manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and appropriate molding related experience preferred
- Practical hands on experience in all aspects of equipment repair including hydraulics pneumatics mechanical electronic and electrical
- Must be qualified forklift operator
- Requires good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
- Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Certificates or licences appropriate to manufacturing industry loud.
