- Intermediate/Senior Division with Subject Specific Qualifications

NOTES: The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Work in partnership with the Principal and mentor colleagues in the implementation of curriculum policy statements and will model the strategies required to implement curriculum. The successful candidate will identify and adapt curriculum in response to locally identified needs and have a sound knowledge of the high school curriculum as it pertains to assessment evaluation and reporting.
- Have a sound understanding of Provincial Student Success initiative(s) and play a role on the School Student Success team.
- Ensure curriculum delivery is presented in according to Ministry of Education or ICE guidelines.
- Participate in system level curriculum initiatives as necessary.
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities in planning organizing monitoring developing and implementing curriculum.
- Model the principals of Catholic Secondary Education within our Board.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to articulate the values and goals of the system.
- Recognize and support Catholic curriculum goals and direction of the province and of the Board.
- Be a collaborative team member of the Department Head school team.
- Be an active participant and leader in both Department and School Improvement Planning.
- Be committed to the Catholic education and possess a record of exemplary teaching experiences.
