Compensation: $27.00/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • 50% of time performing the same work as persons supervised
  • Manage and promote safety food safety quality processes and housekeeping
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees and contractors and provide continuous training for existing employees through daily shift exchange meetings and safety trainings
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment at site including but not limited to bagging machines shipping computers and motorized vehicles
  • Be the point person for management initiatives work orders and communication

Required Qualifications:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production related work
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting safely with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust salt etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Able to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice
  • Able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer operation skills to perform data entry for label production and monitoring of inventory and shipment completion; warehouse/shipping software SAP software or inventory management software
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (e.g. packaging machinery).
  • Actively demonstrate safety leadership
  • High school diploma or GED or a minimum of two years of experience in production-related work
