Location: Belle Glade FL

Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday (M-Th: 8AM-5:30PM/Fri: 8AM-12PM)

Pay: up to $22.28 per hour commensurate with experience

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated Family Services Specialist to advocate for families and help them access essential early learning programs and services. What Youll Do

• Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services in person or by phone.
• Screen applicants for financial assistance and determine eligibility for programs such as School Readiness VPK CSC Scholarship Head Start and Early Head Start.
• Advocate for families assess needs and assist with enrollment transfers and service terminations.
• Maintain accurate family information in the Enhanced Field System (EFS) database.
• Support families with child developmental screenings and provide timely notifications about childcare status.
• Manage a caseload while accurately documenting case notes and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and reporting requirements.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Education Early Childhood Education Child Development Human Services Social Work or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in CCR&R eligibility determination or childcare enrollment processes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office CRMs and cloud-based systems.
