This position works directly with the Pediatric Epilepsy division and neurosurgery faculty staff and inter-department positionis responsible forcoordinating care points of pediatric epilepsy surgery patients including clinic visits out- and inpatient tests (in conjunction with staff in involved departments) and pre- and postoperative care related to epilepsy surgery in collaborating institutes (Kennedy Krieger Mount Washington local providersetc.). This position will also serve as a liaison between patients/families and faculty involvedforthe patients carewhilepromotingsuccessful and efficient patient experiences.

Role: Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Nurse Coordinator

Shift: Day Shift / 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in nursing required; Masters degree or equivalent preferred. Clinical experience required.

Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.

BLS CPR certification (AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted).

Minimum three years of clinical Epilepsy or Neurology experience required.

Experience with epilepsy and related complex medical conditions

**Must have authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship applicants will not be considered).

Salary Range: Minimum 39.94/hour - Maximum 61.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
