Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Product Support

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Product Support to join our team at Honeywell in Redditchwhere you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems including performing routine preventative checks and general facility upkeep. It involves installing new machinery and associated components such as pipework pumps and valves. The position requires strong faultfinding skills to diagnose breakdowns quickly and effectively. The role also includes occasional UK travel to support customer equipment and overseeing onsite contractors to ensure safe and efficient completion of work.

This is a full-time permanent role which will be based onsite at Redditch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing preventative maintenance checks and repairing mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic facility caretaking activities will also be required
  • Installing new machinery pipework pumps and valves.
  • Fault finding and diagnosing breakdowns.
  • Overseeing onsite contractors

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 2 in mechanical engineering or 3 years previous experience in manufacturing maintenance ideally in the Engineering sector.
  • Proficiency with tools and safety regulations (Health Safety & Environment).
  • High attention to detail manual dexterity and the ability to work under pressure.
  • LOTO (Lock out Tag Out) experience will be beneficial.
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Microsoft office use.
