Working pattern: Part-time term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for someone to join our fabulous Bluebell

family as an individual needs assistant working at Fletching Primary School.

  • to support an individual child on a one-to-one basis ;

  • to supervise and take care of the children during the lunch time period in all areas inside and outside of the school.

This is a busy and varied role but we will help you to get the support you need to

succeed.

The successful candidate will need:

  • to have experience of supporting children in a classroom environment;

  • to have knowledge and understanding of child development;

  • to be effective at establishing good relationships with pupils staff and parents;

  • to have good maths and English skills;

  • to have high expectations of themselves and pupils;

  • to embrace the Christian ethos of the school;

  • to promote a positive image of the school through their work and attitude.

Previous school experience preferred but all applications considered.
