About the Role
Were hiring a GTM Engineer to own the implementation integration and ongoing operation of Baselanes go-to-market engine. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology and is focused on making GTM systems actually work - reliably efficiently and at scale. Youll be hands-on building and maintaining tools like our CRM and lifecycle systems wiring integrations troubleshooting issues when things break and continuously improving workflows to reduce manual effort and operational friction.
Youll use modern tooling and AI to move faster automate workflows and increase leverage across GTM systems. Functional teams define the business need; you own how it gets built and kept running.
This is a highly cross-functional role with real ownership and autonomy. If you enjoy building systems cleaning up complexity and being the person who makes things work end to end this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the implementation and ongoing operation of Baselanes go-to-market tooling
- Improve and harden systems by removing one-off logic or reducing overlaps
- Build automations for workflows leveraging AI to increase speed and efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Marketing Product Support and Engineering to turn defined needs into functional scalable systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues when GTM tools or integrations break
Must Have
- 3 years experience in GTM systems internal tooling or similar roles at a tech startup
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining business tools (e.g. CRM lifecycle)
- Strong technical fluency for a non-engineer: comfortable working with APIs webhooks event schemas and integrations
- Experience building automations that reduce manual work and operational friction ideally using a robust AI toolkit (e.g. claude n8n)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate from a prioritized backlog in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs and constraints to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Prior experience standing up a CRM
- Light coding or scripting ability
- Familiarity with Segment (Twilio)

$90000 - $120000 a year
