Job Purpose: To provide business support to integral functions of the North American Royalty Administration team and others at SMP.
What Youll Do:
Work on a high-performing team of motivated passionate individuals who love what they do
Receive track triage research and respond to client account inquiries via our online client portal email and phone
Provide timely professional and courteous customer service to our songwriters and their teams
Request royalty payments
Review and post financial transactions including demo expenses and balance transfers
Provide user access and support for SCORE our client website
Assist department during royalty distributions
General department assistance and additional projects as needed
Who You Are:
Someone with a desire to learn more about Music Publishing
Interested in the Administration side of the business
Willing to work with people numbers and new technology
In possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment where timeliness and accountability is critical
Able and willing to correspond with creative clients and industry professionals via various methods including phone calls email and other technology
Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a customer service position
Desire to learn and master new software technology and processes
7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume can require extended working hours based on business demands
Must be authorized to work in the United States
