JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College of Agricultural Sciences in Department of Entomology is recruiting undergraduate researchers to assist in gene discovery and genome annotation in insects as part of a broader NSF-funded study on insect primary job responsibility will be the description and analysis of insect chemoreceptor genes with opportunities to assist with molecular techniques and field collection of job training will be provided; students will gain familiarity with major bioinformatics software packages and develop a working knowledge of genome biology and related sciences such as molecular biology computer science and given to students who have completed coursework involving genetics or genomics or with similar prior starts at $16/hour with work hours negotiable but anticipated 10 hours/week during the semester and up to 40 hours/week during the questions please contact Dr. Robert Mitchell ().
