The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for an individual responsible for training supervising and evaluating Correctional Records Clerk I and IIs interview and hire new clerks prepare weekly reports on Correctional Records Clerk I and IIs productivity at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Douglas.

| Job Duties: |
- Trains supervises and evaluates Correctional Records Clerk I and II
- Assists and ensures special projects are completed
- Reviews and assists staff in all records functions
- Interviews and hires for vacant Correctional Clerk I and II positions
- Tracks all incoming documents for filling and ensures all are filed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensures records retention schedule is in compliance with schedule
- Prepares weekly reports
- Drives on State Business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
| Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
Knowledge of:
- Release information pursuant to ARS 31-221 Public information Act Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) policy and procedures and general office practices
- ADC Computer System Adult Information Management System (AIMS) all filing systems (alpha/numeric terminal and current ADC filling format)
- ADC Organizational-Supervision Techniques
- Testifying in court
Skill in:
- Interpreting and applying rules and ADC Policies and Procedures as they apply to offender records organization verbal and written communication
- Interpersonal relations
- Customer service
- Attention to detail
- Operations and use of AIMS Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Interpret AIMS screens testifying in court analytical proof-reading and interpretation of laws and statutes
Ability to:
- Interpret and appropriately respond to other agencies request placement of detainer or response to ADC detainers
- Understand requirements to enhance former inmates sentences with the use of prior packets and procedures for testifying in court on prior packets and detainers
- Interact with all organizational levels within all law enforcement agencies
- Assist in streamlining processes for higher productivity
- Motivate staff and work in a prison environment

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.11).

Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
