Job Summary
Our clientis seeking a technical writer to improve existing and develop new technical documentation. The documentation being developed is for use by manufacturing and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Documentation Creation: Develop and improve work instructions standard operating procedures troubleshooting guides and job aids.
* Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts engineers and operations gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
* Research: Investigate and analyze technical information from various sources to create comprehensive documentation that meets user needs.
* Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit documentation for clarity consistency and adherence to company style guidelines.
* Basic Project Management: Manage documentation projects including planning scheduling and tracking progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in English communication technical writing engineering or science fields. (minimum required)
* 3 years of technical writing experience manufacturing environment experience preferred
* Proficient with MS Office (Word Excel Power Point Outlook Teams). PTC Windchill system experience is a plus.
* Ability to understand technical processes being documented. Optics knowledge is a plus.
* Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all documentation produced.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines.
