Salesforce Product Owner

Were looking for a Salesforce Product Owner to join L&G Asset Management on a 9 month fixed-term contract.

This is a key role to shape how Salesforce supports our business across regions and divisions and aligns the strategic programme with the tactical backlog to ensure the platform scales efficiently aligns with local market needs and delivers measurable impact in line with Asset Management corporate strategy.

In practice this means setting up a centre of excellence to shape a unified CRM strategy that harmonises multiple Salesforce instances into a single strategic direction. Youll support stakeholders in Distribution & Sales Marketing Client Service & Operations to ensure our Salesforce roadmap supports each functions goals while maintaining a consistent enterprise vision

What youll be doing:

• Setting up the centre of excellence working with the strategic programme and stakeholders to design and build a centre of excellence
• Owning and evolving the Salesforce product roadmap ensuring alignment with business priorities and longterm strategic objectives
• Leading mentoring and developing a team of Salesforce specialists (Admins Developers Scrum Master)
• Gathering refining and prioritising requirements from crossfunctional senior stakeholders aligning programme with BAU
• Translating business needs into scalable technical solutions using Salesforce best practices
• Overseeing the design and implementation of Salesforce automations workflows flows validation rules and integrations
• Driving continuous improvement aligning with the three strategic programme initiatives and working across Salesforce and connected platforms such as Connect
• Ensuring platform governance data quality user adoption and release management processes are maintained

Qualifications :

Who were looking for:

• Strong experience as a Product Owner Technical Lead or similar Salesforce-focused role
• Deep understanding of Salesforce core features declarative automation (Flows Process Automation) data model and integration patterns.
• Proven experience across Sales Cloud and Salesforce integrations
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams
• Experience of working in Agile environments with structured sprint planning and backlog management
• Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM capabilities (Sales Cloud required; Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Salesforce certifications (e.g. Admin Data 360) would be a huge plus!
