Job Summary
Your influential mission. You will..
- Build and maintain BigQuery tables in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop & make changes to Apache Airflow pipelines.
- Prepare SQL logic for transformations and reporting tables.
- Validate query results and fix inconsistencies.
- Perform Data Quality Checks.
- Write clear descriptions of tables DAGs SQL logic and data flows.
- Participate in team discussions demos and retros.
- Work closely with reporting developers analysts and other engineers.
- Ask clarifying questions and share updates on progress.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices.
Qualifications :
Components for success. You
- Have or are studying a Bachelors or Masters degree related to Data Engineering
- Understand database fundamentals: general principles of designing database tables and data transformations.
- Are comfortable creating and modifying tables views and simple analytical queries.
- Are familiar with DDL and DML.
- Can write clean efficient SQL queries (joins filters aggregates).
- Can write small scripts for data transformations and automation in Python.
