Job Summary
What should you expect working as a Caregiver Support Staff
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Has the ability to solicit process and integrate input from team members and administrators

- Demonstrates proficiency and/or willingness to learn the advanced use of practice management software electronic medical records Microsoft Office products and ASANA
PROVIDE TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH CAREGIVERS AND COWORKERS
- Greet caregivers in a friendly and timely manner
- Receive incoming calls provide available information and route as needed
- Ensure caregiver information is recorded accurately and consistently
- Assist coordinate and/or perform appointment scheduling between caregivers and medical staff
- Assist incoming patients based on urgency of care and available staff resources
- Perform clerical duties including but not limited to filing copying faxing linking emailing mailing & scanning
PERFROM PROCESSING RELATED DUTIES
- Process payments for invoices (transactions via cash care credit credit/debit cards and checks)
- Utilize the clinics practice management software to finalize invoices process refunds and accurately record all sales
- Reconcile the cash drawer and all payment transactions (cash checks electronic payments) against the systems end-of-day report
- Coordinate with the Medical Support Team to answer any caregiver questions
PROVIDE IMMEDATE SUPPORT TO ALL DEPARTMENTS
- Understand hospital logistics to maintain efficiency and reduce costs
- Be a resource for inventory control to aid in loss prevention
- Ensure front lobby remains clean throughout shift
ENGAGE PAWS COLLABORATIVE PROCESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
- Integrate into the The Collaborative Process
- Attend regular Collaborative Meetings with members of the Collaborative & Supporting Role Teams
- Track progress through Core Training and track issues and accomplishments as they arise
- Provide feedback on guidelines processes and policies with intent to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Attend departmental or All-Staff meetings
Qualifications :
What are we looking for
- Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
- Compassionate and calm team player
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly organized and possess computer skills
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
Schedule Requirements
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- 10am-7pm / 12:00pm-9:00pm shifts
- Every other weekend coverage
- Up to 4 Holiday Spans / Year
- 4 DAY WORK WEEK!
