Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Epidemiologist with 7-15 years of postgraduate applied experience in consulting to join our Health Sciences practice. The ideal candidate combines technical depth in epidemiologic methods with a sellerdoer mindset demonstrated expertwitness/testifying experience and a portable book of business.
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in occupational or environmental epidemiology though we remain open to adjacent applied fields (e.g. pharmacoepidemiology injury epidemiology) where litigation/regulatory support experience is strong.
What Youll Do
- Client development & revenue growth (sellerdoer): Originate expand and retain client relationships; meet or exceed annual personal sales and delivery targets; lead pursuit strategy scoping and pricing; partner with crossfunctional colleagues to craft compelling proposals and thought leadership.
- Expert services & testimony: Serve as consulting expert and testifying expert in litigation and regulatory matters (depositions reports oral testimony). Translate complex epidemiologic analyses for legal and executive audiences.
- Project leadership: Design and manage multiworkstream epidemiology engagements (e.g. exposureresponse incidence/prevalence risk assessment causal inference) overseeing study design protocol development and QC/QA of analyses and deliverables.
- Methods & analytics: Apply rigorous methods (casecontrol cohort timeseries metaanalysis survival analysis sensitivity analyses) and modern tools (R Python SAS Stata) to generate defensible decisiongrade insights.
- Practice building: Mentor junior staff and contribute to gotomarket collateral and external visibility (publications conferences webinars client briefings).
Qualifications :
Required
- Doctoral degree (PhD ScD or DrPH) in Epidemiology from a regionally accredited researchintensive (nonprofit) university.
- 7-15 years of postgraduate clientfacing consulting experience delivering epidemiology projects (litigation regulatory or risk management contexts).
- Proven sellerdoer track record with a portable book of business (size/sector mix to be discussed) including demonstrated annual origination and revenue delivery.
- Expert witness/testifying experience (deposition and/or courtroom) including authorship of expert reports and demonstrable effectiveness under crossexamination.
- Advanced proficiency with epidemiologic methods and statistical software (R Python SAS SPSS or Stata) and the ability to direct analysts and external partners.
- Exceptional communication skills - capable of framing complex methods and results for attorneys regulators and corporate leaders.
Preferred
- Familiarity with U.S. litigation.
- Existing visibility: publications conference presentations committee roles and professional society leadership.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $150000 - $300000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset experience training location scope of role management responsibility etc.
