Job Summary
Third Shift Quality Inspector
Schedule:
Training: First shift for approximately 2 weeks
Regular Shift: Third shift Monday through Thursday 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
Pay:
Competitive hourly pay
$1.50/hour shift differential once training is completed and employee moves to third shift
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on third shift. This position will train on first shift for the first two weeks to ensure a smooth transition before moving to the regular third-shift schedule.
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications before shipment or further processing.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts and finished products
Use basic measuring tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges
Identify defects and document findings accurately
Follow inspection procedures work instructions and quality standards
Communicate quality issues to supervisors or quality team members
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Complete required paperwork and inspection reports
Qualifications
Prior quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions is a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to insert weight if applicable
Dependable attendance and ability to work third shift after training
Willingness to train on first shift for the initial two weeks
