PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Creative Director leads and inspires a highperforming multidisciplinary creative team to deliver exceptional insightdriven work across BBC Studios global portfolio. Acting as the creative heartbeat of the organisation the role shapes and oversees bold innovative campaigns and content that elevate brand perception support commercial goals and set the benchmark for creative excellence across digital social video experiential and multiplatform storytelling.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

- Provide strategic and handson creative direction across video digital experiential and presentation platforms ensuring cohesive and insightdriven output.
- Drive innovation and excellence in design storytelling and branded content to strengthen audience connection and elevate BBC Studios brand perception.
- Oversee the development and delivery of distinctive multi-platform content aligned with BBC Studios commercial and creative objectives.
- Mentor and manage creatives producers and digital talentcultivating collaboration professional growth and intelligent risktaking.
- Contribute to senior management decisionmaking including resource planning budget oversight workflow optimisation and departmental strategy.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure all creative work meets BBC editorial technical compliance and organisational standards.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Exceptional creative and digital expertise with a strong record of delivering highquality innovative work.
- Proven leadership experience demonstrating effective Creative Direction and team management across multidisciplinary groups.
- Strong multiplatform credentials including strategic vision digital storytelling and brandbuilding capability.
- Solid production experience across relevant formats and environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to pitch present and influence senior stakeholders confidently and persuasively
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Proven creative leader with strong conceptual abilities and a track record of delivering original impactful ideas across multiple platforms.
- Deep expertise in brand positioning digital storytelling and largescale integrated campaign development.
- Highly skilled in copywriting art direction and producing highquality creative across digital social and traditional channels.
- Strong understanding of social media video strategy analytics emerging technologies and performancedriven optimisation.
- Excellent people leadership skills demonstrating resilience sound judgement and the ability to collaborate effectively while upholding BBC editorial and ethicalstandards.
