Could you be the full-time Technical Program Manager in Västerås were looking for


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and R&D expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

Youll help shape the future of braking systems with innovative solutions while ensuring the successful delivery of R&D programs. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (technical specialists governance boards and cross-functional teams) oversee risks and mitigation plans and much more.

Youll specifically take care of driving Quality Cost and Delivery performance but also coordinating with stakeholders to align on technical and program objectives.

Well look to you to:

  • Ensure full execution of the program in line with R&D macro-processes.
  • DriveQuality Cost and Deliveryperformance according to governance decisions.
  • Ensure proper application of governance rules related to budget authorizations and work package funding.
  • Coordinate with technical specialists to resolve engineering difficulties.
  • Oversee risks mitigation plans innovations and interfaces.
  • Follow granted budgets and authorizations and monitor EVM (Earned Value Management) indicators and expenses.
  • Report to the management about the progress of the R&D program
  • Prepare and lead the PRB (Program Review Board) and monthly R&D reviews.
  • Ensure proper tracking and closure of action lists.

  • University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Background in project management or R&D program management
  • Experience in multidisciplinary R&D environments and technology development cycles
  • Strong decision-making and results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in stakeholder coordination and program management
  • Understanding of governance rules and R&D structures
  • Fluent in English (Swedish/French is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe
