Job Summary
Due to the Book of Business we are planning to hire from within one of the following METRO locations: St. Louis/Columbia MO or Kansas City KS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for the end-to-endprovider experienceand overall service deliveryfor assigned Book of Businessaligned to medium to low complex providers
Leads collaborates and supports local marketdirectionas it relates to improving theproviderexperience
Creates andmaintainsindividualproviderstrategicactionplans
Proactivelyidentifynew opportunities and risks forproviders at market or national level and drives resolution
Exercises good judgment and discretion to support theproviderexperience
Responsible for capturing documenting and sharing market intelligence; use market intelligence to develop and drivestrategicimprovements
External facing withproviders in assigned BOB
Collect analyze interprettranslateand distributeproviderinformatics reports dashboards
Track andmonitorperformance guarantees for assigned BOB
Promotes Provider Index score improvement through proactive and effective service and support of network
Reviewproviderreports/dashboard with individualproviders
Proactively educate providers onCignas businessobjectives standard operating procedurespoliciesand programsto influence behavior and how to work with Cigna
Serve as a provider advocateboth internally and externally
Understands and applies service culture principles andmethodology
Servesas a provider advocate both internally and externally
Servesin a consultative role or subject matter expert to key matrix partners
Develops andparticipatesin presentations to existing and prospectiveproviders and/or clients
Serves as advocate in external communityrepresentingCIGNA to medical societies and externalproviderassociations.
Manage joint operating committees including agenda developmentfacilitatingappropriate meetingparticipation and follow up activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
5 years of experience inproviderrelations and health carerequired.
Account management experience highly preferred.
Demonstrated excellent oral written interpersonal analytical and negotiation skills.
Experience with MS Office required (use of pivot tables/VLOOKUP in Excel is highly preferred).
Understanding of medical insurance products and associatedproviderissues highly preferred.
Ability to lead the account management teamsand matrix partners to a common goal.
Ability to work in a matrix environment.
Up to 25% travel within the Metro KS (Kansas City) and Metro MO (St. Louis and Columbia) areas is required for the Book of Busines and to attend meetings.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 66600 - 111000 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
