Job Summary

As a System and Application Engineer in the IPS team you will play a key role in enabling successful design-ins of Renesas products. You will develop reference designs support customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design simulate optimize and validate inductive position sensor modules.

Provide technical support to customers from concept and debugging to prototype.

Perform measurements and tests using lab equipment and test benches.

Create PCB layouts for sensor demonstrators (experience in Altium is mandatory).

Prepare technical documentation (application notes design guides).

Develop and maintain software tools for demonstrators and production programmers.

Support simulation of inductive sensor elements using an in-house tool.

Work closely with Product Management and Marketing.

Participate in customer meetings and occasional business trips.

Contribute to new feature development and continuous improvement.


Qualifications :

Bachelors with up to 2 years of experience or a recent Masters degree with 0 experience in Electronics Electromechanics or related field.

Proficiency in PCB design and layout; Altium experience is mandatory.

Comfortable in using electronic lab equipment (oscilloscopes function generators).

Experienced in soldering (SMT and THT)

Programming skills in C/C Python LabVIEW

3D design experience is an advantage (Solid Works)

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team.

Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Skills

Experience in automotive or industrial sensor applications.

Understanding of functional safety requirements.

Agile mindset and proactive information sharing.
