This is an opportunity to join and learn from a top-notch Power Design Team within Renesas Electronics Americas leading power management product line. As part of one of Renesass most prominent BMS Design Groups the analog design intern will work on next-generation IC products for multiple fast paced consumer industrial and automotive markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design of analog and power integrated circuits.
  • Hands-on block level design from specification to clean database.
  • Interface with layout verification test product and application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production.
  • Participate in discussions and draft documents of technical issues and other design aspects with internal teams and customers.
  • Instigate regular peer reviews with other analog engineers.
  • Guide the layout of circuit blocks for high-speed performance and precision operations.
  • Run block-level and top-level mixed-mode simulations to meet datasheet parameters.
  • Lab evaluation and support for circuit blocks/whole ICs.
  • Support test development and ramp to production

 


Qualifications :

  • MSEE or equivalent with coursework in analog electronics. Must not have graduated before September 2026 - Masters students only - Local candidates only
  • Understanding of basic electronic circuits (amplifiers filters ADC/DAC etc.).
  • Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (e.g. SPICE MATLAB etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuits.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous Lab experience with circuit testing is a plus.
