Your Responsibilities
- Draft review and negotiate a wide range of contracts including vendor contracts strategic partner agreements licensing agreements statements of work and NDAs.
- Assist with corporate governance matters and compliance initiatives ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.
- Provide support to global legal initiatives and group policies through projects directed by Director of Legal & Compliance.
- Stay current on relevant laws and industry trends affecting the business particularly technology sector.
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders on all corporate legal matters.
- Collaborate with management to align and support corporate strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with governance compliance and risk assessment departments to support processes and adherence.
- Manage communications and support from outside counsel when deemed necessary.
What you need to succeed
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed in New York.
- Five to seven years of related experience in corporate law contract negotiation and business transactions.
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions intellectual property data privacy and technology law.
- A firm grasp of legal terms and conditions to ensure that contracts regulatory and license programs meet all legal requirements.
- Proven experience in contract management overseeing the entire life cycle process.
- Experience with software and service industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Acute attention to detail and strong negotiating skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.
- Versatility flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards. Exercises good judgement.

- The pay range is between $136000 and $160000 depending on experience.
