ECM Energy Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Clarksburg WV. This position focuses primarily on preventative maintenance and light repairs for our light-duty fleet vehicles.

Position Summary

The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance inspections and minor repairs on company light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles. This role plays a key part in maintaining safety minimizing downtime and extending the life of company assets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance services (oil changes tire rotations brake inspections fluid checks etc.)

Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance

Diagnose and complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs

Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

Coordinate with operations to schedule routine maintenance

Ensure shop area is clean organized and safe

Assist with parts ordering and inventory tracking as needed

Respond to light emergency repair needs when required

Qualifications

Previous experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic preferred

Experience working on light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles

Basic knowledge of electrical brake suspension and engine systems

Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment

Valid drivers license required (CDL a plus but not required)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
