Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

• The position will serve as the critical link between our transport planning carrier base and all activities related with Recurso Confiable (RControls bunker) ensuring flawless execution in transport operations. This role is instrumental in minimizing logistics costs maximizing On-Time Performance (at origin & at destination) and transforming operational incidents into structured opportunities for continuous service improvement being responsible for full ownership from End to end Track and trace governance.

Responsibilities:

1. BUSINESS CONTINUITY

• Invoicing visibility (Pending report): Manage the accurate reporting of tonnage or volume pending to be invoiced in accordance to WH capacity and inform the stakeholders into the charge of leading any update/correction to the tool .

• Lead Visibility (from shipment plan until delivery): Own the real-time tracking and visibility of all customer and DC shipments from booking to delivery.In charge of delivering automated dashboards allowing to make preventing decisions.

• Risk visibility: Responsible for Identifying any risk for shipments departure and managing the mitigation of it creating action charge to inform (CDT OTI & CBS transport departments) through RControl the risks observed.

• Incident management: Audit and control all in-transit incidents and spends (e.g. delays breakdowns rejections weather-related alerts) to ensure resolution and alignment with carriers. Direct contact con CDT OTI & CBS transport departments.

• Delivery Cycle: Coordinate and audit processes to ensure timely and accurate closure of shipments.

1. OPERATIONAL

• Escalation Management: Define and execute a clear documented escalation matrix for critical service failures to ensure key stakeholders (CDT OTI CBS transport WH departments) are informed and corrective actions are launched promptly.

• Cross dock shipments: Define the rules for cross docking modality delivering short lead times truck utilization and cost charge of elaborate the cross dock shipment plan.

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Verify with RControl the detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on all claims rejections and incidents accurately defining and logging reason codes to drive preventative measures.

• Claims Closure: Manage carrier claims end-to-end from initial submission and necessary evidence collection until final financial settlement and closure.

1. CONTROL COST

• Budget control (Accessorial Costs): Execute strict control over the budget for accessorial fees (detention demurrage rejections cross-dock re-delivery handlings and others)

• Expense approval and validation: Serve as the financial approver of all accessorial expenses through established rates and supporting documentation to prevent over-billing.

• Cost Improvement: Drive annual budget improvements by conducting proactive analysis of accessorial spend to identify root causes and implement strategic changes to eliminate non-compliant or avoidable costs.

• Financial Settlement & Carrier Compliance: Oversee freight release and monthly reconciliation of incident payments

1. REPORTS & KPI

• On Time: Full commitment to achieve on time at 98%

• Accessorials record: Maintain an accurate record of accessorials approved and manage it through an internal number for following.

• Compliance Audit & KPI Reporting: Address internal and external audit requirements manage the service quality of the tracking vendor (Recurso Confiable). Support publish and update KPIs in Domo

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Logistics or Business Administration.

• 3 years experience in Transportation Operations or Freight Management preferably in high-volume environments.

• Project Management skills

• Proven proficiency in SAP (Modules SD MM) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities.

• Demonstrable experience managing operational KPIs and conducting Root Cause Analysis.

• Ability to create/maintain SOP

• English proficiency 90%
