As a Recruiter youll play a pivotal role in connecting top talent with exciting contract and permanent opportunities in various sectors including energy construction mining and more driving success for both candidates and clients. Youll actively engage with candidates in person over the phone and via video building meaningful relationships that unlock potential and create lasting impact.
This is a full-time in-office position based out of our centrally-located Downtown Calgary office.
This role is ideal for a recruitment professional with experience sourcing candidates within the energy or construction sectors thrives in a fast-paced environment takes initiative and possesses a sales-mindset. If this sounds like you apply today!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Source Top Talent: Utilize innovative strategies to find and engage the best candidates in the energy and construction sectors.
- Qualify Candidates: Screen interview and evaluate candidates to ensure theyre a great fit for our clients needs.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with a supportive group of recruiters researchers and business development managers sharing knowledge and resources to help you focus on identifying the right talent.
- Stay Industry-Savvy: Keep up-to-date with market trends to refine your sourcing strategies and target in-demand skill sets.
Qualifications
- Education Background: A bachelors degree is preferred but we welcome applicants from all educational backgrounds including those with degrees in social sciences or humanities.
- Recruitment Experience: 2-5 years of experience in recruitment within a technical setting. Candidates with previous experience recruiting candidates in the oil and gas utility mining and construction sectors are preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: Confident in both written and spoken English with the ability to clearly convey ideas and build relationships.
- Detail-Oriented: Youre organized and meticulous with a keen eye for spotting talent and matching candidates to the right roles.
- Driven & Motivated: Goal-oriented and eager to succeed in a fast-paced environment always striving to meet and exceed targets.
