As the Vice President of Product Management reporting to the CEO you will be at the forefront of building the next generation of 3D geospatial models leading Niantics efforts to construct an intelligent continuously evolving representation of the real world. You will shape and execute a product strategy that empowers enterprises and developers to build VPS-centered and AR-enhanced experiences and integrates cutting-edge AI and mapping technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in leading tech-heavy product development teams.
**We expect the leaders of the company to be based in the office at least 4 days a week.**
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
12 years of product management experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong technical expertise to be able to have in-depth conversations with research and engineering teams and identify creative solutions.
Deep leadership skills with experience in building mentoring and managing high-performing product teams.
Demonstrated ability to go deep on customer needs and creative solution development in order to drive product strategy.
Proven ability to drive innovation and lead large-scale complex product initiatives from conception to market success.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
Experience working with distributed global teams and launching products across multiple markets.
Experience leading a design team raising the bar on quality and product excellence.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a user-centric approach to product development.
