$33.59/hr (Midpoint 10 years of experience)

A full-service acute care hospital in the Pensacola area is seeking a CT Technologist to support imaging services at its main campus and affiliated Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs). This role supports fast-paced emergency environments and delivers critical imaging services to diverse patient populations.
Under the direction of a Radiologist the CT Technologist performs CT and radiologic procedures requiring independent judgment technical expertise and a strong focus on patient safety.
The technologist safely applies ionizing radiation and delivers high-quality imaging services to patients ranging from neonates to geriatric populations.
Perform CT and radiologic imaging procedures with minimal supervision
Apply independent judgment and initiative in imaging execution
Ensure safe and accurate administration of ionizing radiation
Maintain responsibility for assigned imaging areas and equipment
Provide patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes
Accurately document procedures and communicate effectively with the radiology team
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
Acute care experience required for Free-Standing Emergency Department assignments
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist required
ARRT (R) and (CT) certification preferred
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
