New York Institute of Technology seeks a Medical Education Learning Specialist for the College of Osteopathic Medicine located at the Long Island (Old Westbury NY) campus.
Responsibilities
Provide academic support and educational counseling to students who are accelerated program participants and track their academic progress work with relevant others in the recruitment process for these students.
Provide individual educational counseling to students addressing areas such as test-taking strategies time-management reading comprehension strategies note-taking techniques and study skills.
Provide workshops for students to address topic areas such as test-taking strategies time-management reading comprehension strategies note-taking techniques and study skills.
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Masters degree in education or a related discipline Education or a related field.
- Knowledge in learning concepts educational theory and psycho-educational assessments.
- Strong interpersonal administrative/organizational and computer skills.
- Aptitude for educational technology.
