The Marketing Color Library Associate supports the Marketing team by ensuring accurate timely processing of coil and extrusion sample requests maintaining organized and reliable sample inventory systems and enabling strong communication between Marketing Color and Lab teams. This role helps ensure customers receive correct high-quality samples quickly - directly impacting our brand experience and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all tests are completed and results meet all specifications before going to the next production process for samples
Enter all batch data into the electronic batch records system
Generate appropriate paperwork as needed per customer specifications
Gather and send customer samples as required
Utilize appropriate computer systems to ensure effective testing of products
Determine disposition of non-compliant finished goods
Place non-conforming samples on hold as needed
Maintain sample inventory levels
Identify and communicate sample issues/delays to other departments as needed
Create maintain and update standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet ISO requirements
Process sample transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
Maintain precise work order files and formulas
Assist in training of other library associates as needed
Experience supporting customer-facing teams (Sales Marketing Customer Service)
Strong attention to detail with ability to manage many small tasks accurately
Comfortable working in fast paced deadline-driven environments
Must be able to communicate professionally with customer and internal partners regarding sample requests timelines and issue resolution both verbally and in writing
Must demonstrate strong customer-service skills including responsiveness clarity and attention to detail when providing updates or coordinating sample needs
Perform other duties as assigned

FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
HS Diploma or equivilant
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Business Library Science Operations or a related field.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
At least 1 year of customer service or inside/outside sales experience
Preferred:
Experience in color science coatings or manufacturing industries
