Position type: HourlyWe are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our Information Technology team. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science Networking or a related field with an interest in desktop support troubleshooting and end-user technologies.
This position will support daily IT operations and end-user computing needs. You will work closely with IT staff and internal stakeholders to assist with hardware deployments helpdesk support and departmental technology requests while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with building imaging and deploying Windows-based laptops and desktop systems
- Troubleshoot helpdesk calls related to laptops desktops printers peripherals and hardware connectivity
- Provide support for Microsoft Office applications and general Windows operating system issues
- Assist with departmental requests for local application configuration and programming
- Document issues resolutions and asset information in IT systems
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve processes and end-user support efficiency
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science Networking or a related field
- Interest in IT support desktop systems and enterprise technology environments
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems Microsoft Office applications and basic networking concepts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication customer service and documentation skills
Requirements for All Coop/Intern Positions:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Available to complete the full 36 month assignment
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
- Strong problem-solving analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated work ethic and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely results
