Your opportunity

• Assist the payroll team with day-to-day global payroll operations.
• Ensure accurate payroll payments to employees across multiple jurisdictions.
• Calculate and process employee payrolls in accordance with company policies and tax regulations.
• Perform essential reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Generate reports and maintain payroll records.
• Identify investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with clarity and transparency.
• Assist with timely responses to inquiries as needed.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies including incorrect payments missed deductions or employee inquiries about their pay.
• Provide collaborative assistance to payroll stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters.
• Carry out other assigned duties as needed.

Must have skills

• Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills to address payroll issues efficiently.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrates sound judgment in decision-making processes and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines including extended hours if necessary.
• Maintains confidentiality with a high level of honesty and integrity
• Ability to identify deficiencies in processes suggest improvements for efficiency and implement enhancements.

Nice to have skills

• Bachelors degree in accounting business administration or a related field is preferred.
• Certification from the American Payroll Association such as the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is advantageous.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $70000-$75000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be open through March 31 2026.
