What Youll Do

Administer andmaintainAzure SQL DatabaseandSQL Managed Instances.
Configuremonitor andoptimizeAzure SQLDatabasesfor high availability and disaster recovery.
Implement and managebackup strategiesperformance tuning andquery optimization.
Ensure compliance withsecurity best practices including encryption access control and auditing.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support database design deployment and troubleshooting.
Automate routine tasks usingPowerShellAzure CLI or similar tools.
Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance or capacity issues.
Architect and maintainETL ProcessesusingAzure Data Factory

What Are We Looking for in this Role

Qualifications

10 yearsof experience as a Database Administrator with at least2yearsin Azure SQL environments.
Strong knowledge ofAzure SQL DatabaseSQL Server andcloud architecture.
Experience withhigh availabilitygeo-replication andfailover groups.
ProficiencyinT-SQLperformance tuning andquery optimization.
Familiarity withAzure MonitorLog Analytics andautomation tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

What are our Desired Skills and Capabilities

Experience withAzure Data FactorySynapse Analytics or other Azure data services.
Knowledge ofDevOps practicesandCI/CD pipelinesfor database deployments.
Certificationssuch asMicrosoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
Experiencewith migrating and/or architecting new databases Oracle familiarity is a bonus.
Experience with non-relational databases likeMongoDB.
