AliveCor is seeking a motivated and skilled Product Designer to join our team. We are looking for a collaborative partner who is ready to jump in manage a dynamic workload and help us deliver exceptional mobile-driven user experiences.

In this role your primary focus will be designing the screens flows and interactions for the AliveCor mobile applications on iOS and Android. You will work hands-on to translate complex health data into clear user-friendly interfaces ensuring that every design helps users manage their heart health while supporting our broader business goals.

What You Will Do:

Champion Mobile-Driven UX: Design and ship end-to-end mobile experiences for our core apps. You will move efficiently from initial concepts and user flows to polished high-fidelity screens always prioritizing a mobile-first approach.

Collaborate Across Time Zones: Work closely with stakeholders and team members based in the US. This role involves maintaining a flexible schedule to ensure sufficient overlap with US hours for real-time feedback and alignment.

Drive Prolific Ideation: You will be expected to think creatively and generate a high volume of new design concepts independently. You should be comfortable driving the creative process and proposing multiple solutions rather than waiting for direction.

Manage Multiple Workstreams: Navigate multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality. You will break down complex requirements into actionable solutions and prioritize effectively to keep all initiatives moving forward.

Iterate Based on Data: You will take quantitative data and qualitative feedback and translate them into specific design tweaks. You do not just ship and forget; you analyze the performance and refine the experience.

Influence Key Metrics: Connect your design work to high-level business goals. You will focus on driving specific outcomes particularly user retention engagement and conversion and use these metrics to validate your design decisions.

Partner Deeply: Act as a true partner to product managers and engineers. You will not just execute tickets; you will collaborate deeply to understand the problem offer solutions and ensure the final product is both viable and valuable.

Who You Are:

A Mobile Expert: You have 4 years of experience specifically building mobile apps. You understand the nuances of iOS and Android guidelines and have a practical knowledge of applying Design Systems to mobile environments.

A Self-Starter: You are capable of driving design initiatives independently. You do not need hand-holding to come up with new ideas; you proactively bring fresh concepts to the table.

Data-Fluent: You are comfortable looking at charts and numbers. You know how to take a data point and turn it into a concrete design improvement.

Adaptable & Resilient: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can maintain high quality even when managing a heavy workload across multiple projects.

A Strong Communicator: You value collaboration over ego. You listen well ask good questions and build trust with your cross-functional partners.

What We Need:

Experience: 4 years of hands-on Product Design experience with a strong portfolio featuring mobile (iOS/Android) and responsive web applications. Healthcare or MedTech experience is a plus but a hunger to learn the domain is required.

Metric-Driven Case Studies: Your portfolio must demonstrate not just what you designed but the impact it had on user behavior. We are specifically looking for examples where your design influenced conversion retention or engagement.

Availability: Flexibility to overlap with US Pacific Time for essential meetings and collaboration.

Technical & Practical Proficiency: Expertise in Figma for rapid prototyping and handoff.

Strong understanding of iOS and Material Design guidelines and the ability to design within technical constraints.

Solid grasp of WCAG accessibility standards.

Knowledge of development processes and mobile app development tools is a plus.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to influence product roadmaps and build strong relationships with engineering and product peers.
