Procurement Analyst

Sourcing & Procurement

• Lead public procurement processes including RFQs and RFPs; evaluate bids and support award recommendations.
• Issue purchase orders coordinate vendor debriefs and research potential suppliers to ensure all activities align with ALCs Procurement Standard.

Contract Management

• Develop and support contracts addendums Statements of Work NDAs and other procurement documents in collaboration with internal stakeholders and Legal Services.
• Maintain accurate documentation manage contract renewals and proactively address vendor issues.

Spend & Data Analysis

• Analyze vendor and category spend to deliver insights and recommendations that support business decisions and cost optimization.
• Prepare regular reports and datadriven analysis for internal stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

• Enhance procurement processes through digital tools automation and bestpractice methods.
• Monitor market trends and industry changes that may impact sourcing strategies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in supply chain management business finance or related field.
• 3 years working in procurement preferably in the public sector.
• Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
• Must reside in Atlantic Canada.

• Strong negotiation communication influencing facilitation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze pricing and spend data to support decision-making and identify optimization opportunities.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and the ability to simplify complex concepts and processes clearly.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity.
• High level of professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
• Strong commitment to customer service and delivering excellent client experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access) and experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Ability to multitask and work accurately in a fast-paced deadline-drive environment.

Assets:

• Certification in public procurement such as SCMP CPPB PSPP or CPP.
