The Merchandiseris responsible fordeveloping and managing a merchandising strategy for Lulusbusiness. The strategy should be aligned with Lulus plans/calendar/growth strategies. For the Lulus sitethey will work with the Buyers Developers Creative andMarketing teams to align our buying strategies with our storytellingto thecustomer. They will also work in partnership with the Wholesale team to create cohesive and captivating collections research and communicate emerging trends curate dynamic storytelling to assist in generating a higher adoption rate improving the shopping experience in-store & online maintaining/elevating the brand image and increasing wholesale sales revenue.
This is a hybrid role working out of our Los Angeles CA office. The candidate is expected to be on-site on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

Create seasonal and quarterly concept and mood boards that clearly outline trend silhouette color and fabric priorities for the buying and development teams.
Lead the internal merchandising process by collaborating with Marketing & Creative teams to market clear stories capsules & product launches that align with the Buying strategies.
Attend Content Meetings and help influence emails by applying business insights & trends from a Merchandising perspective.
Conduct in-depth research on the latest womens trends and macro-shifts within the womens industry.
Work alongside LulusDevelopment team todetermineupcoming trends prints inspiration etc.
Assistin creating a wholesale collection calendar that willshowcaserelevant trends and stories thatalignwiththe clients and consumers needs and shopping behaviors.
Work alongside Lulusdevelopment team todetermineupcoming qualifying styles and trends for the wholesale collection.
Partner with wholesale Account Manager throughout product development life cycle to ensure that relevant trends and business initiatives are supported
Pull together visuals for each monthly collection to provide direction on key outfits trends and product focuses that align to buying priorities.
Coordinate sample management timing and communication between vendors and wholesale accountmanagers.
Assistin the redevelopment of top-performing styles and color adds.
WhatYoullNeed
Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or another related field
4 years of Womens Design Trend or Merchandising Experience
Experience in researching andidentifyingseasonal trends and creating story and mood boards.
Strong understanding of style silhouettes construction techniques color trims fabric/yarn print/pattern and wash.
Thorough knowledge of trends and fashion.
Keen understanding of the Luluscustomer.
Ability to filter global trends through the lens of the targeted consumer.
Excellent written andverbalcommunication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively throughout the organization.
A senseof urgency highly detailed and experience in meeting deadlines.
