Job Description
Timeframe: June 1 August 21 2026 and able to work in a hybrid work environment.
THE ROLE
Were looking for a Pre-Dev Software Engineering Intern to join the On-The-Go (OTG) Pre-Dev Team and support the prototyping and implementation of embedded and research tools for next-generation Bose devices.
In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Develop and test embedded software features using C for OTG products
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with the team on code reviews and debugging
- Contribute to the development of a Raspberry Pi-based research tool using Python
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role you should be/have:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in C programming
Experience with Git version control
Familiarity with Python development
Understanding of unit testing debugging techniques and data structures
Participation in relevant student organizations or technical clubs (e.g. IEEE ACM) is a plus
No formal certifications required but coursework or projects in embedded systems or IoT is beneficial
