What You Will Do:
- Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products customer plant operations and business objectives and applicable government regulations.
- Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolabs innovative products equipment and services.
- Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation safety quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs standard operating procedures evaluating processes and procedures identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and employee training.
- Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations observe and test equipment and product performance repair or adjust equipment adjust chemical concentration levels monitor product inventory and place orders.
- Implement agreed upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Corporate Account Manager (CAMs) of results challenges and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks.
- Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in dairy food or agricultural science engineering chemistry or related field.
- 2 years technical sales experience in meat processed food dairy and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector.
- Possess a valid Drivers License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
- Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers
- General mechanical ability.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
