Primary Role: Tutor (Grades 18)
Subjects: English French and Math
Student Age Group: Grades 1 to 8
Mondays: 3:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 3:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.
This position requires consistent availability on these three days at a minimum.
Location: Oxford Learning Forest Hill
(Avenue Road and Eglinton Toronto)
Tutor students in English French and Math in small-group settings using Oxford Learnings individualized approach.
Deliver engaging structured lessons using our proprietary curriculum.
Support students in developing strong learning skills confidence and independence.
Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the Education Director and families.
Assist with administering and supporting student assessments including French assessments for enrolled French students.
Contribute to a positive professional and team-oriented learning environment.
University degree required
OCT certification preferred but not required
Strong academic background in English French and Math
Fluency in French is essential (must be comfortable conducting sessions and assessments in French)
Previous teaching or tutoring experience required
Experience working with elementary-aged students
Comfortable working in a structured fast-paced learning environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Enthusiastic patient and adaptable
Professional and confident when working with students and parents
Bonus: Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum and/or experience conducting academic assessments.
